We have two new pets in our home. Both are "rescue" dogs.
Tink is a terri-poo who was raised for the first eight months of her life with very little human contact. She was basically a little wild animal when we adopted her. We have had her for four weeks and have made great progress moving her into a world with people who want nothing more than to love her. Right now she is not much to look at, but she is cute nonetheless.
Kodi is also a rescue dog. He is a six year old male Australian Shepherd who was dumped by his owners - twice! The Aussie Rescue Placement and Helpline took him into their system and we were lucky enough to meet him and adopt him. He is a beautiful Blue Merl neutered male with a great personality and disposition. He has perfect house manners and mainly just wants to be around his people and loved. He also loves meeting new people. We have had him for one week now.
He is having a calming effect on Tink and will help bring her to a more calm state sooner than we could on our own.

May 2009 - I have added some new photos of Kodi and Tink. I have some practicing to do on panning since Tink travels at the speed of sound across the backyard!
